It is with great sadness that I must inform everyone that the aviation
community has lost yet another icon. Barbara Cesar, Owner of Syncro
Aviation in Van Nuys, had a relatively minor surgical procedure last
Wednesday. She went on to develop complications from that surgery and then
passed away Friday afternoon. Barbara was 55 years old.

Barbara was an incredibly vibrant, generous and caring woman. She was a
huge fan of CAP and supported the Van Nuys Hawker Squadron 128 by providing
meeting space and airplane parking for N609CP inside the Syncro hanger.

Barbara's loss is a shock and she will be sorely missed.

The family is planning a service for Barbara on Friday, November 16th. As
soon as I have more details, I will pass them on.
