I regret to inform the members of Pacific Region of the death of

Lt Col James Veach of the Oregon Wing.  This is a tragic loss for Oregon

As Lt  Veach started out as a cadet in became interested in

Communications.  For the last several years he was assigned as Oregon

Wings Alert officer and many times he worked as communications officer

For many missions and ELT missions.

Our Condolences to Mrs Wendy Veach and to the daughter, Jessica

And their family for their loss.

Lt Col Veach always assisted many cadet and senior members with

Programming radio and installation of radios and antennas for any

One who needed assistance in setting up their equipment.

He was always ready when called for many of the missions in Oregon Wing.

It is a real loss for Oregon Wing, Pacific Region and the Civil Air Patrol

That he has passed up to the corporate communications center in the heavens above.

Our prayers and Sympathies to the families and to the members of Oregon Wing.
