It is my sad duty to inform you of the passing of long time member LTC Richard Sykes on August 2, 2008. LTC Sykes was the founder of the famous Condor Squadron at Van Nuys airport. He was a veteran of WW II and the Ca Air National Guard. His internment will be at the Vahalla Cemetary in Burbank, Ca. at 1100, 7 Aug 08. In lieu of flowers it is requested donations be sent to: Condor Squadron
